SK8 is a tiny skateboarding game. This page explains what it does and doesn't do with your information. It's a short page because there isn't much to say.
SK8 has no accounts, no server, and no save files. It doesn't keep scores or progress between plays. The only thing it remembers, on your own device, is whether you turned the sound off, so it stays off next time. That setting never leaves your device.
To know whether anyone plays, we count four events: a game was started, a game ended, the level was won, and the share button was tapped. These are counts only; nothing you do or type is recorded. For this we use PostHog, an analytics service (PostHog Inc., data stored in the United States). PostHog receives the type of device and browser and an approximate location derived from your IP address. SK8 keeps no identifier between visits, so each play looks like a new visitor. We do not use cookies, we do not record your screen, and we do not track you across other websites. You can block this with any content blocker; the game plays the same without it.
The share button uses your phone's own share sheet to pass along the game's web address. We don't see who you share it with.
SK8 is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may log the IP address of visitors. See GitHub's privacy statement.
If you install SK8 from the App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google may send us anonymous crash reports and basic install statistics under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your name or contact details from them.
We do not sell or share your information. We do not show ads. We do not ask for your name, email, contacts, location, camera, or microphone.
SK8 is a general-audience game. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
